David Wayne Goins Jr. is a husband, father, speaker, leader, philanthropist and a servant who’s impacted thousands of lives through his ministry and a dedication to service. The foundation for his pastoral passion is rooted in his love for those that are downtrodden and discouraged.  He teaches others how to build up their faith and grow their relationship with God.  Pastor Goins has a heart for God and a love for people.  This is evident as he preaches and teaches the Word of God with power, passion and practicality.  He’s from the wonderful City of Cincinnati and was raised in the beautiful community of Avondale.

Today, David Goins is the lead pastor of New Evergreen Ministries, a church located in Avondale, the very community that he was born and breed. In the 9 years under his leadership the church has experienced exponential growth both numerically and spiritually.  Through his leadership we’ve served in prisons across the country, fed thousands of people across the city, provided uniforms, coats and other resources to many schools throughout the Greater Cincinnati area, hosted community prayer walks and many other outreach efforts.  As a result of his vision we are the proud sponsors of 5 children in Rwanda, Asia, Ethiopia and Kenya.

Along with his wife Lady Angel Goins, who is affectionately known as L.A., they are committed to serving God and our community.  On several occasions, Pastor Goins has been quoted saying, “God has called me to tell on the devil.”  He wants the people of God to start walking in the authority that God has given us. Pastor Goins and Lady Angel’s ministry motto is “we can’t stop, we won’t stop.”  They are the proud father of 3 boys Dallas, Dion and Dylan.  If you’re looking for him he can be found in the trenches serving and fighting for God’s people.
